SUPER SLOW online class - find out why it works!!
T-Tapp Super Slow has helped me make a commitment to myself.  It is sometimes hard to find the motivation to
exercise even if in my head I know I want to do it.  The schedule Michelle provided me gives me a plan of action so that
it is already in my mind what workout I am supposed to do for that day.  Once it is in my brain I automatically find a way
to fit the workout in around everything else going on in my life.  I think back to when I signed up for the class
remembering that motivation and consistency were my problem.  No one can help me unless I want to be helped.  I paid
good money for Michelle's expert advice and now it is up to me to put it into action.  I am very happy with what Michelle
put together for me because it gives me variety and somewhat of a challenge.  I like a challenge and am very proud of
myself when I complete a workout like Tempo Torso or HTF that I otherwise wouldn't have chosen to do.  I'm just like
everyone else so I know I don't always go to my max on every move every time but  Michelle makes me accountable
when she asks for my measurements.  I know she will "see" right away if I have been doing the workouts or not and that
keeps me focused.  Oh and let's not forget the video critique!  I have Tapped for 3 years now and with all of Michelle's
tips and the info I have gotten from the forum I felt pretty good about my form.  I was absolutely shocked by the number
of corrections that Michelle had for me after she saw my video.  It's frustrating to think that all this time I have been
doing things incorrectly but then I realized that no one is perfect and at least now I know what to do to fix it.  These little
corrections that Michelle gave me might be just the thing I need to kick start major inch loss. I think everyone will take
away something different from this class but for me it's been about challenging myself to do something just for me.  I
want to be healthy and fit as I age.  I want to be able to keep up with my kids on a bike ride.  I want to be able to control
my chronic back pain so that I do not become crippled by it down the road.  Most of all I want to be happy in my own
skin and T-Tapp does that for me.  T-Tapp Super Slow is just one of the vehicles I'm using to be the best person I can
be.

Just keep on Tapping!

One month is done and here is what I like about it (the first few things that come to my mind right away):

-          Consistency is something that has been lacking in my life since last autumn when I had a low back problem and
had to stay in bed and have a number of water traction sessions. It was difficult to get back on track and though I had a
plan I often skipped WOs and consequently saw no results. For the past month I've been as consistent as I probably
have never been before: not a single planned WO was missed! I've been always looking forward to t-tapping and was
never tempted to skip it "just this time only" – the credit entirely goes to you, Michelle

-          For the first time ever I video taped myself and had a professional feedback which helps me a lot in perfecting
the form;

-          Figures do not say much but I see my body change in many ways; it is very stubborn in losing inches but I hope
that consistency will have its last say here;

-          Going up the stairs has become easier: at times I feel like I am a bit short of breath but this is only "sometimes"; I
feel like it becomes easier with every day;

-          Fluctuation of blood pressure is still there but most of the time it is normal. Actually, for the whole week now the
blood pressure never exceeded normal limits;

-          I feel much more energy and my batteries are recharged each time I t-tapp.

My biggest problem with Tapping has always been consistency.  When I'm Tapping I'm losing inches, but I seem to
always sabotage myself when the end is in sight.  I start thinking wow I look good & I start cutting back on my workouts &
before you know it I'm not doing any work outs & eventually I start putting inches back on.  I joined Super Slow to help
me get consistent & get get rid of my stubborn belly (I am a very short torso).  The schedule is wonderful but can be a
bit ambitious for me so I have tweaked the schedule when needed.  In fact this past weekend we went to visit family for
our niece's first communion and on Friday I didn't do my scheduled workout b/c we were packing & getting ready but I
did pack my DVD.  On Saturday morning while the kids were in the basement playing I popped the DVD in & did my
workout.  We do a lot a traveling to visit family on the weekends because they are only 3 hours away, but I have never
packed my T-Tapp DVD's before.  I wanted to stay on track so I decided that I would make time on Saturday morning to
get it done.  It felt great!  I stayed true to the schedule so I had no guilt in skipping Friday's workout & I'm setting a good
example for my kids.
The other super cool thing that has happened is in one month I have lost 3 inches off my abs (one of my most
troublesome areas).  So when the alarm clock is going off early in the morning I just think of those 3 inches & say yes I
can get out of bed & do this.  Some days I really don't want to but I push myself to get out of bed & after I get my
workout done I feel great.  My reward is skin brushing & skin saver body oil after my shower.  What a great way to start
the day!

It has been motivating.  I like having a schedule from a pro and someone besides myself to be accountable to and
someone to email and ask questions.  I prefer this over posting on the boards.  Because of the schedule, I do not use
excuses to get out of floor work.  I am actually enjoying it and feeling results.  I look forward to my emails and reading
daily what Michelle posts.  My eating habits are improving and I am brushing regulary.  I do brush in the shower because
I get it done now that way and it feels so good.  I love the video review and the fact that she has the video and I can go
back and ask questions.

SUPER SLOW is helping me stay consistent through the daily emails (which I print for a notebook that I review
periodically) and especially the custom workout schedule.  There's something about having a planned schedule to
check off that keeps me accountable.  At the beginning of each week I look at the workout schedule and think about how
best to fit in my workouts.  It helps me stay accountable to know that I'm going to check in with Michelle on weekends.
And I want to stay active on the forum to take advantage of the opportunity to ask questions and broaden my T-Tapp
practice with other T-Tappers.
